o Claim – Repair and strengthen damaged hair.
o Result – I think it has done a pretty good job of repairing my split ends. As a result of some of my split ends being repaired, my hair does seem to be a bit strengthened.
o Other thoughts – I didn’t think this leave in conditioner made my hair feel as silky and smooth as some of my favorite leave in conditioners but it is definitely not the worst either in that category. If you do not care about your hair feeling EXTREMELY moisturized I think you would still like it. A main quality I also like in a leave-In conditioner is for it to have detangling. I have found that this does just an okay job of detangling even though it does not promise such a feature. It is not magical by any means but it helps a little bit.
o Would I buy? -- With a coupon or sale, I would consider buying this product. I think for full price, I have other ones I would like to use more.
o Claim – Long lasting with minimal transfer.
o Result – I agree that this is a high quality, long lasting liquid lipstick. I also found it to have very minimal transfer. I could really tell how long lasting it was when I tried to remove it. I did not love the color with my skin tone, so after a couple of hours I attempted to remove it. IT DOES NOT COME OFF. This is a indeed a great quality liquid lipstick once I find a color I would love to wear.
o Claim – Makes your lips feel healthier
o Result – I would agree that this liquid lipstick tends to make your lips feel healthier than liquid lipsticks normally use. It did not make my lips feel dry or sticky.
o Overall Thoughts – It is a little hard to judge a liquid lipstick based on all of its qualities when I didn’t love the color. On my lips, it looked darker than it did in the tube. I loved how long it lasted as this is also a quality that is hard to find in any type lip product.
o Would I buy? -- I would buy the full size of this product if I got to test a small sample of a color I loved. The price is quite high but the lasting quality is so superior to almost all others I have tried.
o Claim – Long lasting and crease free
o Result – I agree that this eyeshadow is long lasting. However, I did not find this to be completely crease free. It was crease free nearly the entire day, but when I go home at the end of the day my eyelids are a little creased. In its defense, my eyelids tend to make a lot of products crease through wear.
o Other Thoughts—If you are looking for colors that are BAM I would not recommend this palette. The colors are all beautiful in a very natural and lightweight way. The shades were all a little creamy so it would take a bit of work to get the product on eye shadow brushes. The creamy nature of the eyeshadows allows them to easily blend on the lid. Great for a subtle, natural, everyday look.
o Would I buy? – Yes. I am looking to get my hands on the other two volumes of this palette. They all look to be beautiful, natural and great for traveling. The packaging also allows them to be cute sitting on the shelf.
o Claims -- Instant dewy, luminous glow with ultra-hydrated skin
o Result – These claims are all true. Once you remove this mask from your face, your skin does look instantly more luminous. My face instantaneously had a dewy texture and an “ultra-hydrated” feel.
o Other thoughts – This face mask is the best moisturizing face mask I have ever tried. I have very dry skin so I love to try out moisturizing products and nothing has giving the same moisturizing effect as this. I really loved everything about this face mask.
o Would I buy? – This is another product that I would only look to buying if it was on sale or if it came as a savings bundle. The only reason I say this is because I think the price per mask is quite high. I would also consider buying this if I got into a situation where my face was severely dry and I needed a boost that I knew would work. I would recommend for anyone who is willing to pay the luxury price.
o Claims- intensely pigmented formula, easy to extend and retract pen, lasts all day
o Results – The only claim that I would say is true is that the pencil is easy to extend and retract. Unfortunately, the claim that it is an intensely pigmented formula is just not the case. When you swatch this to your hand, yes, the color shows up but the pressure you have to apply to get that color will never work on or near your eye. When you attempt to apply this eyeliner to your eyelid, it is VERY difficult to get any color to appear. In order to get enough color to appear, you would need to stretch your eyelid and apply significant pressure. The color also does not appear on the water line at all.
o Would I buy? – No, I would not buy this product. The cost is not a factor, just the fact that I don’t think it worked.
Overall thoughts
Unboxing Experience – 5/5
o I thought the unboxing experience of this box was great. The custom printed box on the outside gave me a sense of anticipation when I saw it appear at my door. A pamphlet explaining all of the products was also included which I truly think is something essential to a great user experience when several different products are included.
Products – 4/5
o Four out of the five products I received in this box were fantastic. A++++, 5/5 stars. However, one star is lost on the rating because the eyeliner was such a fail.
