I was pleasantly surprised at with this box. A lot more items came it in than I expected. This box was so full, it was bulging. This was a present for someone who is very active with running and Clean Fit Box was a great way for him to discover more nutritious options.
- I love what this company name really means. OWYN = Only What You Need. In this protein shake there are none of the top 8 allergens and it is 100% plant based. There is no gluten, dairy, soy, egg, peanuts, free nuts, fish or shellfish. It is also vegan! The protein shake includes “essential amino acids for muscle recovery, metabolism, and easy digestion.”
Claim: Easy Digestion
- Yes! This protein shake did not make digestion any more difficult than normal.
Claim: Recover Faster
- Yes! It seemed like his muscles did recover from long runs faster than if he had not drunk the protein shake.
- Notes: The OWYN protein shake has a very plant-like taste. It is water based so it is not really thick. The flavor was smooth vanilla but this did not have a very strong vanilla taste. Best of all, this had a very smooth texture and was not gritty at all!

- This almond bar has 17 grams of protein and only has 4 ingredients. Wow! Rise is also #madeinUSA.
- The texture of this bar was soft with a crunch of the almonds throughout. The chocolate had a good flavor that paired nicely with the crunchy almonds. This was as filling as the average nutrient bar. This is definitely on the list to purchase.

- This almond bar has 20 grams of protein, 280 calories and only THREE INGREDIENTS. Yes, 3 ingredients. That is unheard of these days in our prepackaged foods. Also, this bar is made in the USA!
- The texture of this bar was really soft just like the previous rise bar. This time, however, there were no crunchy almonds in the actual bar. The almonds in this bar must have more ground up and were blended into the rest of the bar. The flavor was exceptionally good with a balance between the honey and almond flavors. He ate this for breakfast in the morning, did not work out, and it kept his hungry down until lunch.

- This is a mix to make a smoothie out of. It is plant-based with superfoods and all of the ingredients are organic! There is no sugar added and it is gluten free. As an added bonus, this smoothie mix is vegan as well.
- Taste: We made the smoothie with unsweetened almond milk. The instructions said to use water or plant-based milk. It had a very earthy taste from the beet root. There was also still a sweetness flavor with hints of fruit.
- Texture: We followed the package directions by using 1 cup of ice and 1 cup of almond milk. The mixture was blended for 90 sec and smoothie perfectly. Occasionally, some sips would have whole chai seeds in them but besides that the smoothie was smooth.
- Overall thoughts: We thought at $7 a smoothie this was probably too expensive for us to buy regularly for what we got but maybe every so often. The only reason we would consider is because how easy it was to make and it is so good for you. While making smoothies on our own, we never think of using those ingredients.

- This protein bar ingredients includes cashews, honey, and lemon. There are 210 calories in the entire bar.
- This protein bar had a grittier taste than the previous two. The lemon flavor was overpowering and it ruined the flavor of the entire bar for me. This protein bar was not as filling as the rise bars as well but there are also 25% less calories in it. This bar we will not repurchase.

- This is a naturally flavored drink mix. It has 1 gram of sugar and 0 artificial ingredients. The bag we got in our box had 50 servings!
- The taste is fantastic! It tastes like a perfect cup of lemonade. Since there is only 1 gram of sugar per serving it is surprising how good this drink mix really tastes. The package says to mix one scoop with 10-16 oz of water. I used about 12 oz of water and after mixing it for 10 seconds there is no powder seen or tasted. We will be purchasing this in the future!
- $25 for 40 servings
- This product claimed to have only three ingredients as well; beef, water, and seasonings. Are seasonings on its own really only one ingredient? I don’t buy it. This beef jerky has zero carbs, zero sugar and only 225 calories per packet. What is really cool about this beef jerky is that it is all hand crafted in small batches.
- This is our favorite item from the box and this is also the best beef jerky we have ever eaten. The seasoning was fantastic and the consistency was perfect. Whenever I was hungry, I would grab a few pieces. The bag lasted me a week at work even though I ate some every day and it only claims to have 3 servings in the bag. We would repurchase.
